This is an antique butter chip, butter pat or small butter plate made in the 1880-1900s in England. The butter pat measures 3.25 inches in diameter and is made of scalloped porcelain with a pink harebell or lily of the valley design with gold trim. The butter pat, which makes a wonderful teabag caddy now, is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. Also great for sauce, sushi, a bedside pill holder or for rings. So cute!
