This beautiful butter dish was made by the Charles Field Haviland Co. in Limoges, France during the early 1900s. The marking on the base indicates that it was produced for export to the P & B Manufacturing Co. in Nashville, TN. It is composed of three pieces (see picture) and is in excellent condition with no evidence of chips, cracks, wear or other form of damage.
