Richard Felton Outcault (1863 - 1928)was an American comic strip scriptwriter, sketcher and painter. Considered the father of the American comic strip, he is most family known for his Buster Brown and Tige series. This rare volume is in fair condition, with front cover loose and extremely worn and chipped (many losses along fore-edge, and some smaller ones and tears at other edges, title page is loose and has some larger losses, interior pages primarily intact with some tape repaired closed tears to many of the page edges, back cover is missing.
