Ceramic fish set - one large platter, 6 luncheon plates and a sauce boat - all shaped like fish, and having a mottled cream/tan body with grey mottle heads and fins. Very Art Deco colours. Platter measures 41 cm long by 27 cm wide (16.1/8 inches by 10.1/2 inches). The plates are each 25.5 cm by 23 cm (10 inches by 9 inches. The sauce boat has a fish handle, and scales decoration. All made by Burgess & Leigh Ltd, Burslem, England, in their Burleigh Ware range. Dates from 1940s-50s. Excellent condition.
