This set is a good as it gets. It has six compotes. Two are round, two are oblong and two are rectangular. There are 11 matching plates all handpainted in a green and gold scroll design in the center. Each piece is edged in a gold ribbon design. The date the set was made is incised in the diamond hallmark of that period. A truly elegant set for upscale entertaining.
