A souvenir from a trip to Buffalo, New York, about 100 years ago. This blue transfer plate by Rowland & Marsellus depicts the Public Library and Civil War Soldiers & Sailors Monument in Lafayette Square. Around the lip of the plate are: William McKinley Monument in Niagara Square (Carrere & Hastings, 1907), Connecticut Street Armory (Lansing & Beierl, 1898 ), Buffalo Savings Bank, now M&T Bank (Green & Wicks, 1901) City/County Hall (1876), Central Post Office ( Aiken and Taylor, 1894, and the largest building of its kind when built) and Albright Art Gallery, now Albright Knox Art Gallery.

10 inch Diameter
Very Good condition. No chips, However there is a tight hair line crack only visible from the back, no other damage. Rowland & Marsellus backstamp on bottom. Made in England about 1910.
