Beautifully engraved SPECIMEN certificate from the Buda Company. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company in the 1930's and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical man with a sledge hammer in front of a mill and factory. This item has the printed signatures of the Company’s President and Secretary.
Certificate Vignette The Buda Company, of Harvey, Illinois, made industrial engines, some of which were used inside small railroad locomotives and others for tractors, gasoline and diesel engines, jacks and railroad equipment, and mining equipment engines. The Buda Engine Company was bought out by Allis Chalmers in 1953.
