This is a nice clean vintage 1/2" wide x 12.8" long tanged beveled firmer chisel marked "BUCK BROTHERS" on the steel. This is a good quality chisel, that has a good sharp cutting edge ready to use, very clean, no rust or pitting. The area around the cutting edge is clean and flat. The steel alone is 7.5" long. The hardwood handle is very nice, solid, with a good ferrule at one end, and a very good leather cap at the other end, 98% like new, no cracks, original Buck Brothers and is makred "BUCK BROTHERS" on the handle. Plenty of use left in this nice clean, sharp, ready to use, quality made, vintage flat chisel!
