Classic Column pedestal dining table was designed by
Stanley Jay Friedman for
Brueton and was purchased new in 1983. Table top is made of solid black granite. Features a polished stainless steel column base. Table measures 63 1/2" by 41 3/4" by 29" high and surface is 1 1/8" thick.

This table is among Friedman's earliest and most enduring designs for Brueton. It's a timeless and exceptional example of mid-century design. Stanley Jay Friedman has been designing furniture for over 25 years and is recognized as one of America's leading furniture designers. His stated mission is to educate Americans to accept modernism, and has for many years advocated the evolution of the use of modern furnishings for residential use. Friedman still designs for Brueton today. The table is pictured here from a variety of angles and under different lighting conditions.
