I absolutely love these molded flower pins. This one is some type of a Mum. It is made of some kind of molded plastic or resin. It has clear rhinestones imbeded into it around the center. The stones used were not very good and have darkened and changed color with time. The pin back is glued on. It is really hard to date this piece. The pin back seems like 60's and 70's, but could be a replacement. These flowers have been produced for a long time. It measures approx. 2 1/4"X1 3/4".
