Beautiful foliate bronze ornate framing with handles either side surrounding the glazed hand painted ceramic or earthenware tray. Turquoise background with sprays of deep rose,yellow/gold and cream as well as deep green leaves surround the center oval floral motif. Vines of deep blue floral. Several of the groups of 3 flowers are slightly raised and more iridescent giving additional depth to the tray. Marked on the back with crown,shield and laurel wreath with the date of 1895 and the initials "WL" in script. Stands on 4 bronze bun feet. Excellent condition,no nicks,chips or cracks. Measures 24L X 10.75D X 2H.
