Bronze DUTCH Figures BELGIUM Antique - PAIR -

Great PAIR of antique bronze figures on black marble bases depicting a boy and girl with yokes. Each child figurine wears a Dutch style costume and carries two swinging buckets. This type of dress is also seen in Flanders/Belgium, which is where the pair are from.
Alost and Aalst are two names for the same Belgian city in East Flanders. Alost is French. Aalst is Flemish
Both marked - Alost Aalst - on side and each also have a number - 5 - stamp.
Circa late 1800 s to early 1900 s
MEASURES: 2-1/4 square base. 4-1/2 tall, 3 inch across yoke.
Very Good overall condition. The marble has a few tiny flakes on bottom edge. No other damage or repairs found to either figure.
