Bronze Dolphins "Rapture", Robert L. Refvem, 1989
Description: Limited Edition Bronze Figure of Three Leaping Dolphins: "Rapture" by Robert L. Refvem, 1989. One side of the bronze base is features an incised signature "Refvem" with copyright mark and "R.L.REFVEM 1989". The base is marked: "3/25". This piece is the third casting in an edition of 25 pieces. The bronze is mounted on a polished oval granite base. The front of the base features a metal plaque, which reads: "Rapture" and "R. L. REFVEM".Robert L. Refvem (b.1933) is an American sculptor specializing in wildlife and figural subjects. Refvem is a member of The Society of Animal Artists, Allied Artists of America and American Artists Professional League. He is represented in a number of galleries including: Bader-Melnick Gallery (Vail, Colorado), Studio Galleries (Torry Pines, California) and Shaw Gallery (Naples, Florida).
