19th century bronze cherub on three tiered marble base.The adorable little cherub is standing on an ornate pedestal wearing his flowing fabric swag playing a miniture drum attached to a strap across his shoulder. The antique white marble is veined with hints of yellow and tan. A tiny hole center front originally probably held a bronze plaque naming the piece. Felt bottom. The bronze has not been polished a shows a nice antique patina,darker in some areas than others and a bit of the green on the inside of his elbows. Stunning accent piece. No chips,cracks,etc. to marble and cherub in fine condition. Measures 9.5H X 3.5L X 3D.
