This is a beautiful brass Altar Candlestick, wired for use as a lamp. The total height to the lamp socket is 38", the actual measurement to the candlestick bobeche is 27". The triangular base features three panels of raised religious images, it measures 8" w. This could easily be converted back to use as a candlestick, its' original purpose, or left as it is for use as a handsome lamp. Thought to be c. 1900 or late 19th c.
