For Sale I have an Outstanding Large Bronzed Lamp Base made by The Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company of Meriden, Connecticut. This base features a Telescoping Mechanism. There is a round turn knob at the top of the base's column that allows you to raise and lower the shade. You can raise it from 23" fully depressed to 27 1/2" fully extended. The Base is rather large as it Stands an Impressive 27 1/2" tall and the Bottom or Foot of the base has a diameter of 6". The Base displays a wonderful pattern of Embossed Acanthus Leaves set Vertically between Wavy Paneled Dividers with Grueby Style Carved leaves at the top. I would have to say that this is Bradley and Hubbard's finest lamp base. The Base has 2 fully adjustable Original Saturn Style Pull Chains and lamp Sockets. You can adjust each Socket to go at an angle or even straight down. The Deep Brown or Bronzed Colored Patina is just outstanding as it shows minor wear. This is a quality large Lamp Base and Rivals any Handel Lamp Base of the Same Era. This Base will work for those of you with a Tiffany Shade that is 20-22 inches in diameter. Those of you that own an Original Bradley & Hubbard Panel Shade, this will be the Finishing Touch in Creating an Heirloom Table Lamp. The Lamp Base is signed with Bradley and Hubbard's Manufacturing Company Triangular mark on the outside body of the 2 light cluster. The Lamp Base still retains its original Bakelite Plug. This Base was made circa 1915-1930. Purchase with Confidence as I'm sure the they will not be disappointed.
