An old Boye needle, shuttle and bobbin case. This is the case that was in stores that held and dispensed the needles, shuttles and spool bobbins for early sewing machines. There are 197 different models of sewing machines listed on the top of the case with reference to the proper needles, shuttles or bobbins for each machine. This case is over half full of the wooden tubes of needles, shuttles and bobbins. There are 75 wooden tubes filled with needles, 16 wooden tubes filled with shuttles and 8 steel spool bobbins. It is unusual to find a case like this that has this many of the original wood tubes of needles and shuttles.
