I believe these are medicine jars and had cork stoppers. I believe these would have been used to hold a large amount of medicine to be handed out by a pharmacist. The jar/bottles are approx. 4 1/4" tall by 2 1/4" square. I just received some additional info from another dealer. These could very well be early 1900 snuff jars!
