Bordens Men Act Older Ad 1947 This is a July 19, 1947 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from The Borden Company. It pictures Elsie the Cow, Elmer the Bull and little Beulah. Elsie is trying to interest Elmer in painting so that he can be doing something other than napping and she is saying, ""I think men act much older than women"" Elmer replies, ""I suppose gadding and gabbing are what keep wives so young acting"" In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4"" wide by 13 1/4"" tall.
