For Sale is a very nice set of Cast Iron Book Ends with a Great Subject matter of "Elephants". The Patina on these 2 Book ends is Excellent. They appear to have been copper plated and a Brown Patina applied to them. You can see the copper and brown areas and this makes for wonderful Set of Naturally Aged Bookends.
The Bookends are considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. They are both unsigned. According to my books these were simply known as "Working for Peanuts" Bronzed Cast Iron Bookends. These are also quite heavy as they weigh approximated 5 lbs without packing. This is truly a lovely Set of Bookends with a Great Subject Matter of Elephants. I'm sure the Buyer will be very pleased with their purchase.
These Book Ends were made circa 1925.
