A cloth covered metal bank from "Banco del Garibe S A of Havana, Cuba. This bank was made in 1932 or later based on the patent number and when it was registered. It is all metal with a cloth covering and gold embossing for the label and name. The top of the spine has wear on the fabric. The fabric is a red brown color and the 4 corners of the "book" have metal tab on them. We have a key the opens the bank. It is not the original one that came with the bank but an old key that works properly in the lock. The inside is clean and has no rust or tarnishing.
