Boeing Flight without Wings Ad 1944 This is a March 25, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Boeing. It reads, flight without wings. There is no roar of engines when the great fuselage of a Boeing Flying Fortress makes its first flight. Quietly it glides above the compact rows of partly completed bodies to the final assembly line. After the overhead crane has set it down in position, the wings, tail surfaces and landing gear will be joined to the fuselage and the big bomber will be ready for the air In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
