This is a rare Shelley China, England snack set, tennis set or at home set consisting of a cup and a plate with a fitted cup ring to match. The cup and saucer or tea plate are in the Blue Rock pattern #13591 with blue trim and the shape is Dainty made 1940-1966. The cup is 2.5 inches high and the matching plate measures 7.25 inches square. The set is unusual as the square plate is less common and seen less frequently than the oval or round shaped plates with the cup. Both bone china cup and plate are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Perfect you your next tea party.
