I have heard this black boy called Diaper Dan. A cute little black boy hiding behind a thermometer. This thermometer is in working order. The base is marked Multi Products Inc. 1949. The base does have a chip on the back right hand corner. Will not detract from display or use. This is a charming, nostalgic black memorabilia collectible. Stands 5-5.25 in. tall. The base measures 3.75 x 2 in.
