Exotic Beetles and jelly opals set in magnificent Gothic settings really make this huge bracelet quite the conversation piece! This layered heavy metal panel bracelet is a wonderful example of Egyptian revival jewelry with a 2 wide scarab on one of the links ( see photos next to t a dime) The link next to it is almost 3/4 thick with layers of fire opals and filigree work. The 2 end links are also huge and have what looks like snakes or serpents on them with large glass turquoise color cabs. This has lots of rich patina and measures 7 1/2 long and 2 wide. Quite a treasure that has survived for over 80 years! Even prettier and more mysterious in person!
