The rights to the series were sold to Grosset and Dunlap in 1938. In 1965, Clair died at the age of fifty after being diagnosed with cancer.
Beverly Gray's Quest copyright 1942, was the twelfth in the Beverly Gray series. This copy is a library edition, FBLA, and has all the usual wear that may come with a book of this era, including front and back torn pages. Additional photos are available upon request.
