Bell System Rocky Mountain Canary Ad 1936 This s a October 1936 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from the Bell System. When they refer to the Ricky Mountain Canary they are talking about a Burro. When Bell needed to get equipment to the top of Mt Lowe in Southern California they called on the burro for the final stretch. The cavalcade started and reached the top without mishap. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 5 1/2 inches wide by 8 7/8 inches tall
