Beautiful Warwick China Large Platter - June Bride
This wonderful large platter made by Warwick China has beautiful sprays of flowers all over and measures 13.5" long by 9.5" wide. The pattern on this beauty is called June Bride. The flowers on this platter are in pretty pink and lilac colors with green leaves all around. There is wear to the 24K gold trim and many utensil marks as to be expected from age and use. There are also two black specks on the center of the plate but this does not detract as they are specks and probably could be bleached out quickly but I will leave that up to the buyer. This platter is marked on the bottom with Warwick Made in U.S.A. with the knight and crossed swords which this mark was used from the 1930's thru 1950's and this particular pattern is circa 1940's. Warwick is known for their restaurantware, hotel china, railroad, ocean liner and other transportation china, but I am unsure if this piece was made for any of them as it is not a top marked piece and just has the pattern. A beautiful platter for either your collection, decor or to just use for your vintage table setting.
