A basket pattern quilt top from the 1880's. It is entirely hand pieced. The laterals and borders are a burgundy print with a small white pattern. The blocks are made of various fabrics from the period. This quilt top is a very nice sampler of late 1800's fabrics. It is in excellent condition with no wear or fading.
