This basket is made of birch bark and reeds. Woven well and measures 8.5 in. diameter and is 4.25 in. tall. I believe this was produced by Native Americans of the Ojibway tribe or Nation. Purchased in central Minnesota at auction. This is the type that was often sold as souvenirs to travelers during the '30's-'40's era. Good, displayable condition.
