This lovely tea or coffee set consists of a very large round tea pot, lid, creamer and sugar with lid. Each is embellished with a gold painted scalloped rim and gold painted handles. The pansy floral pattern on the pieces is hand painted and is a lovely lavender and yellow, accented with green leaves, on a muted lavender background. The tea pot measures 11 inches from the tip of the spout to the handle, stands 7 inches to the top of the lid, and is 7 inches in diameter. The sugar is 6½ inches from handle to handle, is 5 inches tall to the tip of the lid and is 4½ inches in diameter. The creamer is 4½ inches tall and 5 inches from handle to spout. Each piece is hall marked with a crown, Bareuther, Bavaria and Germany. In addition each has a mark of M.L.Hill 1957, which I assume is the name of the estate owner of this fabulous set. There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces and only one slight rub to the gold paint on the spout of the tea pot.
