1900'S Sterling Silver Repousse Schofield Baltimore Rose Unusual Open Sauce, Gravy or Sugar Bowl. This is one of three well known Baltimore Silversmiths, the others being kirk and stieff in the Early 20TH Century that gave Baltimore the reputation of the City of Fine Silver. All three of these companies made this wonderful repousse pattern in sterling silver flatware and serving pieces such as Tea Sets,Bowls, Trays, Wine Goblets, Tankards, etc. This is a very rare unusual form. This piece along with other Schofield pieces recently came out of a Baltimore Estate. Fresh to the market, this piece has a wondereful Deeep Repousse Pattern of Roses that goes all the way around the sides of this piece and all the way to the foot. It has a plain inside sterling bottom with No Monogram. Under the base it is marked Schofield Sterling with the #1410. The top opening measures 6 1/4" X 4" and rests on a oval base that measures 3 1/4" X 2 1/4". Excellent Condition
