China Balance medicine weight scale, in dark hand carved wood case, fine stick scale light color interior, from around late 19 century, likely for weighing of small objects, detailed, cords and strings attached. engraving, delicate, fine solid work, geometric light wood ring closure, metal finial. 14" long, 3" length, one inch finial. very good aged condition! A novelty object!
