An old balance scales, by Avery of England. These have been used until recently, and the small assorted unmatched weights were used to weight kitchen measures. Brass tray on one end for the weights, and a metal fixed platform (probably added) to hold a kitchen bowl or similar. Weighs to 2 lb. Item measures 21.5 cm high and about 36.5 cm long (8.1/2 inches by 14.1/4 inches). Apart from the grey tray which doesn’t match, it is in excellent original condition.
