This listing is for an Old BAKELITE Wonder Cloth Measure. This was a very common item for sale in the old General Stores. This is a product of A.E. Putnam & Sons, Washington, Iowa. It is approximately 9 1/2" from the top to the bottom. The diameter is 8". The instructions are printed on the face. This Cloth Measure finds the yards in a bolt of cloth without unrolling. The text is clear and 100% legible. The handle is firmly in place. I pulled the measure out partway and it rolled back in. However, I did not pull it all the way out. We have no idea how this works. We are selling it "as is". It looks as if it does work. The BAKELITE on this Old Measure is in excellent condition. This is a wonderful Vintage Sewing Accessory. It is in good used condition.
