Baby Shoe Last/Form

This is a baby shoe last. A last is the form that a shoemaker uses to form the shoe around. I do not know what time frame this one dates from. Originaly they are carved out of wood. This one appears to be some kind of composition material. It measures approx. 3 15/16"X1 7/8"X1 3/4" high. It looks like a pair of shoes would have been made around this that would be for about a 1 year old. That is my best guess, nothing more!
