B V D Christmas Ad 1951 This is a December 18, 1951 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from BVD Brand Sportswear and Pajamas. Ad shows a man standing on one leg on a Christmas tree stand. He has both arms and the other let outstretched with Christmas lights strung in the shape of a tree. Star on his head. Ornaments handing off his hands and ankle. Hanging on the lights are folded pajamas and shirts. Ad reads, The merriest Christmas trees are decorated with BVD Sportswear and pajamas. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
