This is a very rare set of 11 Forstner type auger bits that fit into an included 14 slot tool roll. Each of the 11 bits is marked on the tapered square end area "B G I CO. SEPT.22.74 FEB.23.86 O.J. POST", some marks more clear than others, the O.J. Post mark appears to be a past owner's stamp. This is a fine example of early thin wall casting production, and machine finish production techniques! All are in good to very good, useable condition with the exception of the 9/16" size, it has a chip in the cutting edge area, the outside spur is intact. No rust, no other damage, all appear sharp and ready to use except the mentioned above. The size range is in 16ths from 3/8" to 1" diameter. The roll is new, it is lined and made of a heavy canvas duck material with an inned lining of a softer cottom material. Other tool rolls can be ordered seperately at this website. A very hard to find set of Forstner bits in very nice shape overall!
