You are looking at a rare and beautiful French style mantle clock. The clock case is made of agate and is polished to a smooth high shine. The case is trimmed in beautiful ormolu style brass. There is a glass door on the front that opens to the brass and porcelain dial labeled “WALT” and it has black roman numerals and black hands. The pendulum hangs below the dial and is made to look like a lions head. This clock is in great working condition and we do have the key to wind it. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This clock is antique and may not be perfect. The case measures 15 inches tall, 8 ¼ inches side to side and 5 ¼ inches front to back. It weighs 15 pounds.
