Asian Bamboo & Lacquer Side Table

Unavailable

This lovely Brighton Pavilion style bamboo cane table likely dates from the Aesthetic Movement period of the late 19th century. Measures 28 3/8" high by 25 3/4" wide by 18" deep. Top features a beautiful floral lacquered design and stretcher shelf features its original decorated leather paper. Top has a crack running lengthwise. Table is structurally sound. Origin is not known, but it appears likely the piece is English or was possibly made in the far east. This table was purchased from a leading New York city antique dealer along with a handful of other exceptional bamboo pieces, including a glass display cabinet and side table. All are available for sale individually. Currently in storage in Bronx NY 10452. Additional images forwarded upon request. Other Keywords: smraphael japanese japanned
