One ash shovel made from cast steel or cast iron. It has some rust pitting, but not bad for it's age. It is 14-1/4" long by 4-1/2" wide by 1" deep, the shovel head metal is 3/16" thick, it weighs 1 pound 11.9 ounces. For it's age i think it is in very fine condition. It has Chicago on the handle and several letters and numbers before Chicago that i can not make out. Questions welcomed.
