Beautifully detailed brass or bronze footed jewelry casket in the Art Nouveau style with raised rose pattern. Silk lined - the silk is in good condition but it coming loose from the inside. Hinges have some green corrosion on the inside, but still work smoothly. I do not know how to tell the difference between brass and bronze, but a magnet does not stick to this box, and it appears to be bronze. Please ask questions if you need more detail. This is an excellent old piece! No markings.
