Art Deco Stacking Ashtrays

Unavailable
This is the greatest Art Deco Stacking Ashtray set I've seen in a long time! They were made by Leo Schlesinger Co. New York City, N.Y. in the 1920's. This is the same Leo Schlesinger & Co. that made toys from 1880 to 1900. The set is made up of four individual, 2" round, single rest ashtrays that stack neatly in a chrome round rack. The ashtray's outer casing is chrome, the interior liner is reverse painted glass. The condition is good, there are a few flaws, one ashtray has a missing rest, but with it in the bottom slot of the rack, you don't notice it. The PAINT on one has cracked some, looks like it may have been dropped, small outer dent, the poles of the rack have been repaired where it connects to the base. The chrome is in very good condition, no pitting, no rust, but, alot of shine. All the interior glass liners are in excellent condition. Even the original felt is still on the bottom. This is a beautiful unusual piece. It will shine in any collection. This is a true Art Deco statement. See photos. Take a glance at my other items. Thank you for viewing.
