Antique engraved bookplate drawing taken from the book called A PICTURESQUE TOUR OF ITALY FROM DRAWINGS MADE IN 1816-1817 by James Hakewell Architecht. There is a ton of spotting on the outside of the engraving and fraying on the edges. The engraving itself is untouched and beautiful. Completely easy to crop and frame. It is remarkable for something so old how it has withstood the perils of time. This is an original NOT A REPRINT. We have sold quite a bit of these from the book to several high end apartment condo's in New York City where the Building Managers have framed them for the lobbies. They indeed look absolutely grand displayed. This is the last of what we have. This is original and the only one we have of each listed in the store. The paper is approx 14x11 Shipping is free for USA buyers.
