This white pottery coffee mug with a repeated raised design on both sides that features a nine banded armadillo with rocky ground and a large prickly pear cactus. It was a souvenir of the great San Antonio, Texas Zoo. The designed has © Wildlife Artists, Inc. 1981. No wonder it looks so realistic. On the base it has a light impressed USA. The mug is in very good condition with no damage, but two small missing glaze lines on each side of the top handle. Check my inventory for other armadillo & Texana items.
