This Aramco Three Dimensional Glass Tray Beverage Set commemorates the 50th anniversary of Aramco and its companies, Aramco Associated Company and Aramco Services Company. Aramco got its start as California-Arabian Standard Oil Company in 1933, when the Saudi government signed an agreement with Standard Oil Company allowing the company to explore Saudi Arabia for oil. The name was changed to Arabian American Oil Company, or Aramco, in 1944 and by 1980, when the Saudi’s acquired full control of the company, the name was changed again to Saudi Arabian Oil Company or Saudi Aramco. King Fahd visited Saudi Aramco in Dhahran in 1982 in celebration of their 50th anniversary. This Three-Dimensional Glass Tray Beverage Set commemorates Aramco’s 50 years of achievement. The tray has a three-dimensional relief map of Saudi Arabia surrounded by the various logos and companies. The four glasses have a clear outline of Saudi Arabia that one can look through to see a detailed map on the inside of the glass. The Aramco Three-Dimensional Glass Tray measures, 13.25 inches in diameter, and the four Aramco Three- Dimensional Glasses measure, 05.50 inches H X 02.75 inches in diameter.
