A 1940's red organdy and checked gingham -trimmed apron that is in mint condition. Surely this apron was made to wear at Christmas, for it has white cotton ric-rack with a metallic trim around the sides of the apron and also as trim on the gingham pockets, slightly high waist and around the scalloped bottom. It ties in the back with4 inch wide x 24 inch long ties. The length of the apron at the deepest scallop is 20.5 inches and it is 19 inches around the waist. The gingham has tiny red and green flowers as accents on it.
