This is a wonderful example of a Southwestern, Native American coiled work basket - Apache - In Excellent condidition. The basket has gently tapered sides and has a bottom diameter of 5 increasing to a top diameter of 6 1/2. The height of the basket is 2 1/2 with an overall height of 6 to the top of the handle. The basket presents beautifully with it's muted earth tone colors and has a littl soiling to the inside of the basket. There are two spots to the top rim of the basket that are missing the overwrap on the bundle each of these two spots are about 1/2 in length. These spots may have been part of the original weaving.
