Antique wooden flat top doll trunk, covered in leather look paper or cloth, with red "leather" strapping and brass studs, bail handle, and brass locking mechanism (no key) imprinted with "BTE VP SGDG. Three interior compartments with 2 layers of paper, the original layer in a white and blue floral design, and the second layer in light and dark teal in a geometric pattern. The 2 interior partitions are removable, and there are side ledges on the outer compartments that once held shelves. Condition is good, with exterior surface wear, scratching, and aging, and wear and tear on the interior lining. The hinges and closing mechanism work fine.
