This is a superb large antique Victorian mahogany sideboard / leaf holder and is circa 1860 in date.
The piece features three doors on the front which open to reveal shelves. There is a door on the side which opens to reveal a leaf holder. This would have been used to store up to five of the leaves from an extending table, but today could also have other uses.
The presence of the leaf holder means that the cupboards are not very deep.
The gorgeous flame mahogany is a wonderful colour which is the result of 150 years of sunlight and can not be reproduced today.
Add a touch of class to a special place in your home with this formidable antique Victorian sideboard.
In excellent condition having been beautifully restored in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
